I bought this to replace the LG filter that came with the fridge. We have poor water quality in the area and used a TDS meter to measure water from the faucet as well as from the fridge. Not only does this filter not remove chlorine and other chemical flavors from our local water (like LG), it doesn't even reduce particle levels by 5 points. I measured 112 on the faucet, and the filter only reduced it to 107. A clogged LG filter, even at the end of its life, has measured around 45, which is what a properly working carbon filter should do. I think you get what you pay for but I hope the company will get back to me. You may have made a quality product, but there is a serious problem in your production line. This is either negligence or delusion on their part.
