I was very excited and bought it right after the 23mm 1.4 came out. This is the Viltrox 23mm F1.4. You've probably heard a million things about it, but one of the things you want to talk about today is the image quality, but just to look at the build quality, I mean it's a very well built lens, you can look it up on the internet and plenty Find people who say exactly that. But if you can call them another very little plastic you know all about the lens hood you know it's a good aluminum material that's definitely better made than Fuji lens hoods but it's a really great lens and i had a lot of fun with it and i looked for this symbol in the fuji system for this focal length and just couldn't find it in front of this lens. I usually go from 35mm f2 to 23mm f/2 when using the Fuji system and stay away from some of the more expensive 1.4 lenses, mainly because I've heard a lot about autofocus and you know all the differences, which they have, but over time one of the things people keep saying is it's a magical character again and sadly the $900 Fuji 23. It's fine. I probably mostly use 35mm f/2 when not shooting portraits or even landscapes. I love shooting with this combination, which is a bit odd, but it's a great lens, but I've always loved the 23mm focal length. I just wish it had at least Fuji's 23mm f/2, it just had a bit more depth of field and more character, so when Viltrox announced they were releasing some new lenses for the Fuji system, this autofocus and that they were Fuji would have perverted autofocus lenses.
