    Use this for anything you hang.

    This is a repeat purchase and I recommend it to everyone. I use them for everything and for large objects like a king size headboard I use 2 large ones. They are used on a single bed and I used two because it's a child's room. It's easy to do and I haven't had any problems.     GREAT solution for hanging heavy things

    I used this as a headboard on an old door myself. I am a 54 year old female, just talk, easy to use and very durable on the wall. The guy suggested we CHECK the holes in the door and hang it up like this and I just laughed at that. I found the "French boot" idea on the internet and thought about making it out of wood, but once I found this the problem was solved. You are just awesome!

    Works well, a bit fiddly to adjust

    They work well but during installation you need to be very careful to make sure both sides of the bolt are exactly horizontal. The only way to adjust this is to unscrew the cleat, adjust it, and then tighten it again without the cleat moving again. After completion, the product adheres very well to the wall and does not move. Good for hanging a framed bathroom mirror. I had to buy screws short enough to screw the tip onto the mirror.

    Highly functional solution

    Well done. High functionality. Depending on how heavy the object is, you can mount it to a stand behind the drywall, which means drilling a hole in the center (or just using one of the existing holes). Also, I added a thin layer of felt (fabric tape can be used) to avoid scratching the walls in the rental so it can be removed without seeing anything other than a small screw hole. Not necessarily if it is your own building. Exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price.

    Doesn't fit for hanging floating shelves

    I understand it's not designed for floating shelves so maybe no one will try to use it for that. But if so, then you don't need it. This is a complete failure. A loose fit of the bracket, one piece against the other, will cause the shelf to tilt too far to be useful. I needed the strength of the bracket, there wasn't enough shelf depth for the shelf method. I will have to return. In order for these mounts to work for you, your product needs to be tilted slightly.

So I drilled holes in the small flange so they will mesh much more securely when assembled. It worked very well, but it took a lot of effort to get to the perfect level.     I realize this isn't meant for a floating shelf so maybe nobody else is trying it for this. But if so, then you don't need it. This is a complete failure.     Inaccurate picture. Whatever you hang will lean forward.

    Contrary to the picture/graph, this is not actually a French plank and there is a gap where the two pieces meet. This will tilt the object you are hanging forward. If the gap was small, no gap, or the gap was slanted like you do with wood, then the object you are hanging will hang perfectly vertically.
