Doesn't fit for hanging floating shelves
I understand it's not designed for floating shelves so maybe no one will try to use it for that. But if so, then you don't need it. This is a complete failure. A loose fit of the bracket, one piece against the other, will cause the shelf to tilt too far to be useful. I needed the strength of the bracket, there wasn't enough shelf depth for the shelf method. I will have to return. In order for these mounts to work for you, your product needs to be tilted slightly.
