Review on 60Hz Glossy Screen Planar Helium PCT2235 Resolution Monitor (‎997-8286-00) by Keith Hardin

Great touch screen for Linux

Uses this for an Arch Linux IoT controller interface. Thanks to various software, I was able to have full control over the touchscreen – without a keyboard or mouse. The touch is precise and works immediately. Main downside: The power/menu buttons are also touch sensitive and sometimes become responsive when you don't want them to. It's easy enough to stay away from that edge of the screen so it doesn't get in the way. What I would like to see in a future version: Physical buttons on the back. Separate 12V/24V power supply, thinner/lighter. It would be very handy in my application (off-grid automation) to be able to switch off this DC instead of AC.
