I really like this set but it takes some time to find the right way to use it and the cream to work bring. At first it was so dry that I couldn't apply it freely, but I kept going and eventually the cream softened and is now working. Colors are good for contouring and highlighting. Finding the right tool for the application is important. Both my finger and sponge are too big for the treatment I wanted, but I found the sponge-tipped "brush" worked well on the sides of my nose where I wanted to contour. You can use your fingers for large areas, but I haven't been able to do this with a sponge, neither wet nor dry. Since the color isn't intense, I found it best to apply it after applying foundation and not before as it just blends out. I like that the makeup doesn't get greasy.
