I bought these for my switch lite a long time ago and used up all of them for various reasons so now I had to buy them again. I would still rate it quite high then, but now I have to say if I could give six stars out of five I would give this update. I hope others learn from them and improve screen protectors for other devices. First of all, the screen protector itself. The glass is very transparent and you can see absolutely all colors with no loss of quality or clarity. No screen protector made of glass, let alone clear plastic, can completely hide fingerprints (you need a matte screen protector to keep you from seeing them, and then you lose a bit of clarity and image quality), but fingers work better than a standard one. screen and seems easier to clean. and also with less smearing. The old ones have definitely held up well in terms of strength. I've dropped the Switch Lite a few times (very short little drops, no big ones) and there weren't any scratches or cracks or other damage. In fact, the main reason I removed the last one was because I was doing business with the Switch Lite and the heat gun caused the old one to completely peel off. Unless the new ones are made differently (which I almost feel like) they should be stiff too. I think they could be thicker, which probably makes them stiffer, although they protrude more, so maybe they're more prone to hitting surfaces harder. Only time will tell in that regard. But as for the installation, I have to say that I simply had the best installation process I've ever had for any type of screen protector. This is usually a long process for me, especially since I suffer from a bit of OCD and have to be careful not to get dust particles in so they show up on whatever device I install on the protector. I may have gotten lucky with the dust, but the rest of the process was better than ever as well. For starters, the kit comes with regular sticker guides, but there's actually an extra film at the top with two large finger tabs that stick out a bit so you won't even need them. This allows you to align the tread much better than tiny stickers very easily. Even when I finally got it lined up properly and dropped it, it actually continued without bubbles. I usually have to squeeze out at least a little bit of air even with a glass protector, but somehow it kept going and the air kind of came out on its own. Then I just removed the top plastic guide and that was it. I was done in about a minute instead of the usual ten or so.
