My mower's large rear tire is flat. Given the choice of getting the lawn mower and removing the tire and rim and then lugging the flat tire across town to have it fixed, or buying a new one and then fitting it to my rim - or it with trying the lazy man, I took the lazy man approach. I bought a liter of "Multi-Seal tire sealant". Following the instructions on the container, I removed the tire valve core, poured the entire quart into the flat rear tire, reinstalled the valve core, inflated the tire to 10 lbs and rode it vigorously for 5 or 10 minutes, crossing my fingers. Voila! No more flat tires! It's been holding its breath for 30 hours now and there's no sign of going flat again. Okay, this thing really works. I'm a believer now. I'll fill up another two liters and change the other 3 tires on the mower and I won't have to worry about them ever going flat. I wish I had discovered this stuff sooner.
