I only gave it 4 stars because I think these things are overpriced. The product is an exact replacement and has worked well so far (for a day) and I don't see any problems in the future. BY THE WAY. I have a 2010 Dodge Charger SXT (exact replacement). Don't be confused by the black bezel around the lantern, which the original also has. You don't see it after it's pasted. Now. Before you buy this or any third brake light for your charger (or any other car it fits), check the wires. My car failed MOT because the lights weren't on so I bought this immediately after learning that the entire CHMSL (not just the bulbs) needed to be replaced. When I put it in my car it didn't work and I was devastated. After hours of googling, watching videos, etc., I sat and pondered. 1. I didn't know I had a trunk light (inside) as it hasn't worked for so long (check if yours works)2. My trunk release button (next to the steering wheel) hasn't worked for over a year (and I had no idea why). So I combined research and those two things and put in a little effort to test my cables (sheathed cables between trunk and back seat). It was harder than I thought moving the rubber sheath to see all the wires and I realized it was sticky. A piece of rubber got stuck in the tape and got stuck in the rubber. After pulling a bit, I immediately saw that my green and black wires were split/cut/broken. LIGHT - and I have a trunk release button and trunk light inside). Money saved (or would have been). All because of 2 damn wires.
