This portable scanner is extremely useful for traveling, quick installation, very useful software; but. I classify it as a tool for beginners on a budget (and for people who want to experiment with this type of device without investing too much money first). This is very convenient for me because I scan tabloid format documents with a matte finish. The only issue I found was the LEDs, which I felt weren't powerful enough to illuminate color documents and forget about glossy documents as the light reflects off the paper. I bought two technical lamps with warm bulbs that shone at an angle, to compensate for this problem. For reflection I decided to use Plexiglas. About the software, well it does what it says but remember, that's it. If you want it to be more sophisticated, it is better to use high-end Icodis devices (translated: more expensive).
