I bought 2 headlights, one was used on my 2016 Golf Sportwagen and was a direct replacement and fit like the original headlight. The other was for the 2019 Jetta and it was very loose and rattling due to the metal tab not making contact with the sheet metal in the trunk to hold the light firmly to the car like the original light housing. I considered reusing the factory case but it couldn't accommodate the LED board. I used a new flashlight with Tesa cloth tape to prevent rattling. I'll probably look around for a more suitable lamp if I run into problems later. Installation is easy, but it's possible to break the original bulb by pulling it out, and it's difficult to push the metal tab on this bulb if you need to remove the bulb later. In both cases there is much more light and makes it easier to see at night. The sports car has factory LEDs for the inner dome and map lighting, but not in the trunk. As a bonus, the cars' headlights are now aligned front to back and it looks great.
