There is no automatic mode; this camera can only be used for manual shooting. However, with some practice and attention to the settings, you can produce good images; all you need to do is get used to the camera. Having drawbacks: Large display, frequent auto focus misses, especially in low light, and occasionally it is simply impossible to focus at all. Nearly immediately, dust appeared under the display.
