Review on 📱 Koomus Pro CD-M Magnetic Smartphone Car Mount Holder for iPhone and Android Devices - Single, Black by Chris Long

I have bought three of these holders in the past - one in each car - best phone holder I have ever bought... So far. I left one in a rental car so I decided to buy two more - a spare and a spare. These are a far cry from the originals: 1) The silicone on the front is now wafer thin and warps when pressed with a finger. I don't know how long it will take for it to break. The old ones used to have "kumus", cast from silicone and thick. The new ones are so thin they probably had to remove the title because it was too thin to paste. 2) The magnets aren't as strong as they used to be. I have a metal plate in a phone case. The old ones are so strong that I have to hold the magnetic holder tightly, otherwise it will be pulled out with the cell phone. The new one can't even hold the cell phone without slipping. I had to put another steel plate on the outside of the phone case to keep it even. Haven't tried it on a moving car yet, but I suspect it might still fall off while driving. Now they are quite expensive and no better than cheap ones.
