Review on 🎤 Optimized STD-CMP460 Speaker/Mic for Common Handheld VHF Radios by Jessica Williams

I purchased this speaker/mic for use during the Frostbite Race Committee in Boston Harbor. I wear a lot of clothes and need my hands free, so my radio lives in a jacket pocket specifically designed for a portable radio. The radio remains on a working channel and the speaker/microphone clips to a jacket collar or hood elastic within range to make a call. My only complaint is the volume. I have to hold it all the way up and make sure it's aimed at my ear so I can hear the call in noisy situations (e.g. on a windy day and an outboard running at high speed). However, my portable radio would be completely useless if I didn't have this product. It's definitely worth the money.
