This scrub has a pleasant and unobtrusive citrus aroma, foams well. As for the exfoliating properties, I would say that they are very good. I love that it uses natural particles (from coconut) instead of the synthetic granules used in many branded products that are very bad for the environment. It's not the super abrasive formula I like, but others may need a "more severe" brushing. I agree with the manufacturers that it is suitable for all skin types as it cleans the pores well without drying it out. My skin feels very good after using it and doesn't dry out my skin like some products do. I recommend!
