This amp claims to be rated at 600 watts RMS into 4 ohms, a piece of junk will be happy to put out 300 watts into 4 ohms. Battery with a suitable cable cross-section and a high-quality loudspeaker cable and barely reaches 290 watts in bridge operation. The setup guide is even more useless and doesn't provide any useful information on setting the input level and filter, just telling you to use your ears. If I hadn't spent so much time installing this amp I would have sent it back at this point. I'll just put up with an inferior audio system because both Audi and Planet Audio didn't get their job done. I'm a former mechanic with 8 years of experience and I'm interested in electronics, next time I won't skimp when it comes to choosing an amp. You get what you pay for, which is why I recommend people buy an amp from a reputable company.
