I wanted to improve the lighting in my garage. A 4 foot tube light is not enough for my work garage. I use my garage for projects and I hate dark spots. I want to see small details. My garage has an attic above it. This is a premium storage space. Storage space and large glasses are not compatible. These lights allow me the convenience of glass lights and they are flat so I can place them under the floor of my unfinished space above the garage. These lights are designed for a large garage light so I didn't even need an extra chain. This made my setup even easier. I really appreciate the even lighting in my garage, it makes projects so much easier. I would not use this color temperature in my home. This is a much more natural daylight spectrum. It wouldn't be very warm and cozy inside, but the garage is great.
