Libman make durable mops and brooms in a variety of styles. The puppies run wild and the house opens up to a fun backyard, people and dogs go in and out barefoot. My newest mop uses these pads with strong end pockets to attach the edges of the mop head to. Far fewer slippage problems, no washing machine issues to worry about, and the 5x16 size means you'll be less likely to fall on the floor. A pack of six pads allows me to change pads as often as needed. When I've only used 2 or 3, I rinse them out and hang them on the rim of a bucket in the laundry room to dry. Of course, like dawn the next day, we mop the floor again and throw all the cloths in one load. They don't seem to be affected by multiple washes but I try not to use fabric softener and close them to dry. (They will dry out within a few hours or definitely overnight.)
