My daughter is 5.5 in big kid sneakers but in boots she looks like 4-4.5 big kid at least in UGG. I ordered 5 thinking she would have room to grow but not too many. I was wrong and she has at least an inch and a half in front of her biggest toe. The velcro is very strong and it's a little hard to pull, but not too bad. The hot pinks are very girly and everything my daughter loves. There was a shed of the inner fur lining.
