I am very happy with the purchase and I definitely recommend this system! Everything you need is included in the kit. There are four cameras, a DVR (I have the one with built in storage) and all cables and power cords. And there are some interesting additions, like a USB mouse and remote control for navigating the dashcam. The construction took about 2 hours. It's not really that hard, it's just a matter of setting up the cameras and running the camera cables to the DVR. We used the screws that came with the cameras to mount them and drilled a hole to allow the cables to enter the house. The length of the cable is long enough so that you are not limited when choosing where to install the cameras. The cameras have a cable that provides both video and power. The cameras appear very solid and reliable. They come with a base with three screw holes. You can adjust the angle and tilt by loosening a few screws on the neck of the camera. They stand out because of their size, but I think they could be hidden with some kind of casing. We wanted something that would act as a deterrent so I like that they are visible to those approaching the house. The size of the cameras' field of view is another feature that I really liked. A camera easily covers our entire driveway. Image quality is excellent even in night vision mode, better than I expected for the price. It's truly a plug and play setup, with the cameras connected to the DVR and the system ready to go. The dash cam comes with many features, I haven't explored all of them yet. The DVR is fairly intuitive to navigate, and there are tons of useful features that weren't even mentioned on Revain's product page (you can set up a schedule for the cameras to record at specific times, or use the motion detection mode with an alarm). I recommend this system for its image quality, its cost, its DVR that allows you to customize how the system works, and its relatively easy installation. The only thing that I think could be improved is the power cord for the DVR. it's a bit short. This is really a minor downside as it works great with the extension. Note to seller: I ordered the system because of the price and felt like I was taking a chance. The product page needs improvement to better reflect the capabilities of the system! There are a few things that would have helped me choose a system when I was looking for options: some footage showing what the cameras are recording to better show the quality, more info on how the dash cam menu looks and all built-in functions of the dash cam, and also see the exact length of the camera cables. In the end, I'm glad I chose this system! I don't think I could get better value for money. I really wanted something reliable and easy to use and I feel like we got exactly that :)
