Needed an ergonomic solution to save my arm. Large responsive trackball embedded in the keyboard on the right means arm does not need to extend anymore using a mouse. Easy to use and has a scroll wheel and buttons just below it. Yes, this keyboard is pricey, but I will save money by not going to physical therapy. Bought the lighted version - love it. No guessing on the keys in dim light. The keys are "noisy (clicky)", with tall square keys with springs that create firm resistance (like they use to make them when computers were first new - I love that feel and responsiveness). Again, no guessing on the keys. Keyboard is rugged. Note: you will need 2 USB ports to plug into (preferable next to each other), but the keyboard itself also has 2 USB ports on it. Love this keyboard and trackball.
