Review on Terrain D O G 07 9400 R1 Jogging Leash by Josh Ulrich

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good product from Weaver

While there is one thing I would like to change about this product, I still gave it a 5. It's a very durable product that I found at a local store that stocks Weaver products. I've looked at so many leashes online but haven't been able to rate their quality and as always there are good and bad reviews with many of the good ones getting the product for free - let them know I've given away cash. I have previously purchased Weaver products and have never been notified of this. The Terrain DOG line is made in Taiwan. The waist belt is approximately 24-46 inches long and has a loop that attaches to a leash that is adjustable from approximately 28-48 inches. The loop is sewn very well and can slip around the waist - in my case it's really practical when my dog thinks he has to make a name for himself umpteen times when trying to escape. There is a reflective strip on the waistband and leash which has held up really well so far. The hip belt buckle and adjustment clips are made of durable plastic. I've alternated my runs with a 65 pound sweater bitch and an 80 pound light lab and nothing shows any signs of stress. The only thing I want to see is the flexible part of the leash. I know there are many but Weaver have a reputation for making durable products and many of the handleless flexible leashes available looked substandard and a better leash is quite $$$$$$. I just bought a $3 12 inch bungee cord with a carabiner on each end. It really helps to offer some flexibility if I'm slowing down or my dog is being forged a bit. Definitely a recommended product.
