Review on Whetstone Sharpening MAP-13AL FAP-13AL BAP-13AL by Aaron Carney

These stones have exceeded all expectations. I bought these to sharpen my pocket knife and axes and to have them handy when I'm out hunting or working in the fields and need to sharpen my knife. Once sharpened, my Stubai folding knife is sharp enough to cut you across the room. . Soft stone cuts quickly but gently and not too quickly. It takes care of any chipped or curled edges. The hard stone is fine and begins to polish the blade. The hard black is a true surgical black and polishes the edge better than my 12,000 grit Japanese waterstone. I haven't even picked them out of the trash since I've had them. The leather sheath is made in the USA and the leather is vegetable tanned. Smells wonderful and clean, like a saddle or new boots. I'll probably sew a hat to a leather sheath and a belt loop to carry with me at all times.
