Copes with its task. I bought this key cover because my wife wanted to open the trunk of her Q3 on a rainy day and she went into the garage and repeatedly pressed the key fob and the trunk wouldn't open. After 2 hours my mother-in-law came in and asked if I would like to leave the sunroof open on my A6 Avant (when it rains). Not me. Decided it was time to distinguish our keys. Bought a carbon fiber key case as the wife hates carbon fiber and hopefully doesn't accidentally use my keys again. I also bought this particular set because people were complaining about the cover interfering with the flip blade key (my car is keyless) and I think they fixed that issue because the cover doesn't allow the key to open disturbs (even in my pocket). The cover is very shiny and people won't mistake it for the real one, but I don't mind.
