I have a 1999 Wrangler with half doors. Each time the door was opened and closed, the standard mirrors would move out of position, and hitting hard bumps would move them as well. With the top down it wasn't a big problem as it's easy to look around and see other cars. However, when the top is down, the mirrors improve visibility. I tried tightening the adjustment screws but the mirrors just wore out. This is a much better design and screws on with no issues. The mirrors don't change position at all when the door is opened and closed or bumped and they look much better in my opinion. Overall the fit and finish is excellent for what they are. So a quick, easy, direct update that took 10 minutes. I've had them for a little less than a year but I see no reason why they won't last long.
