The bracket is ideal for holding very large monitors and mounting them at the correct height in tight spaces where speakers etc. Space is a concern. It's stable with a heavy stand, but on very large monitors, which tend to be expensive, the center of gravity can suffer a small bump or jolt if you get too close or move objects around a small crash. On the top, it offers mounting screws for most threaded holes on the back of monitors and TVs, as well as a curved monitor mount. The base has a large footprint that will fit most but I was afraid it might tip over so I enlarged the base with a larger metal plate which I drilled and bolted to the base provided to make a much larger one get base. It's much less likely to tip over on very large monitors.
