This is a good start or a great gift. But I think most people are better off buying the items they need separately. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with the quality of the ingredients that make up this kit. But you need more microfiber towels (too many to fit in a box), and there are some things here that (to me, at least) aren't needed. For example, I don't need steel wire brushes. They don't clean any part of my car. And I don't need a "tire hook". If there is gravel in my tracks, no special tools are required to remove it. A small plastic "toolbox" (as they call it) is the basis of a cheap toolbox, but it's more than enough to hold your cleaning supplies. The price is right and it's a good selection of specialized car detailing tools. I would be happy about a gift, but as I said, if you bought it, I would collect the parts you need separately.
