Review on 🦵 Gute Knee Pads: Adjustable Long Leg Sleeve for Crashproof Protection in Motorcycle & Mountain Biking-1 Pair by Jeff Swan

I loved the design and idea of these shields but I was disappointed with the product itself. I'm 5'8, skinny legs and these are still too small. The plastic shin guards curve too steeply so they don't fit my foot very well. However, the straps are good and fix them well. The articulating knee joint seemed fine to me, but the plastic is pretty cheap and the joints are just rivets, so I can see them breaking pretty easily. The force of the impact is transferred to these rivets. I did a couple of tests where I fell on my knees in them, they are not very comfortable and most of the impact is still transferred to my knees. When you consider the price and they are designed for motorcycling, this is the "you get what you paid for” situation. Most good bike pads are very expensive, but these are not. I wouldn't trust them to protect me in a bike accident. I wanted them to replace my old street hockey pads, these don't fit. The padding is on the front and doesn't wrap up too much leaving the rest of the leg exposed. They also click when walking, which gets annoying after a while. 5 stars: good straps, good price, fast delivery - 2 stars: cheap, weak construction. It's unlikely to offer much protection. The rivets on the knee will probably break - 1 star: I'm not a big guy and these are too small for me - 1 star: generally uncomfortable and doesn't fit well, plus the clicking noise when walking drives me crazy 1 star in total
