I hate being such a reviewer but I haven't found a good reason to spend over $400 on a bluetooth speaker. He has a keen eye, a candle is like light and he is heavy. The tone comes from the base and uses a glass tube to extend the highs. The sound signature is definitely a midrange with some bass extension. The high frequencies are warm and not shiny. The audio is loud but doesn't fill the room unless it's the size of a small bathroom. The speaker inside just isn't big enough to move much air. The candle-like light is dim, but emits some light when the power goes out. The biggest problem with this speaker is the price. For a little more money you can get the massive and really room-filling Bang & Olufsen Beolit sound even without the light. The speaker's glass is more like plastic and I'll be the first to admit that I don't understand how it transmits high frequencies. There is a small sharp cone on the underside and I assume that's where the higher pitched sound is achieved. Overall this is a really great looking speaker that can be a fun topic of conversation. It can also be used as a candle with soft romantic music at dinner for two. The biggest problem is the price. If it was in the $250 or even $200 range, I think it would be a lot better.
