I have used this product on my 2 adult rats and 6 puppies. Lots of space for them, I put toys in it and so on. After walking 10 minutes I returned and my rats were gone. They easily gnawed a hole in the trellis on the sides. I ended up giving this item to my neighbor for his pets. It was installed at a great price especially with a top coat but I will have to buy another in the future. Definitely needs to be taken care of, with EVERY living being. If anyone decides to buy this for their pet, tread carefully!
