These are really high quality hook and loop fasteners. One of my daughters needed a special skirt for one of her dance classes. The studio measured all the kids as they made the skirts to order. You'd think a tailored skirt would actually fit, but not in the case of my child. She is very slim for her age so the seamstress must have mistrusted the measurements as the skirt had to be adjusted at least two inches! The skirt will be used for a few more years, I thought it would be in my best interest to simply add another grommet so the skirt can be adjusted for future use. These hook and eye loops went perfectly with what was already on the skirt, and now we have something adjustable that won't fall in her lap when she jumps. I'm glad she no longer grumbles that I straighten her skirt and she's glad the skirt fits her.
