Worked almost once. The jaws of the crimping tool are not sharp enough to grip the boot collar. After the edges were shaped to grip the clip, they broke on first use. The pliers broke at the pivot point. Poor quality metal broke without even tightening the clamp. I ended up with a few end cutters. The roller tool worked well but the handles kept falling off. The cut off handle will stay in place after you tighten the set screw, but the reel handle will fall off once the handle's small plastic cover falls off. It's very uncomfortable and uncomfortable when you're all greasy and under the car. Okay, live and learn, but don't buy these tools.
