Some manufacturing issues
I was expecting plastic but it turned out to be metal. At first they were scratched, but after replacing them it got much better. However, I was unable to install it flush with the microwave even with the twin screws from the replacement. The screw hole was simply torn off, so after assembly it wobbled a bit when he grabbed the handle. I didn't want to go through the third handle and it was very difficult to disassemble the microwave so I just left it.
