This mattress pad is much better than I expected and I am very happy with it! My husband and I used to have a different memory foam mattress on our bed that was a bit dated. So I thought we should go for this one. Our other topper was a well known brand and we got it from a department store. This one seems way more luxurious and it's definitely an upgrade! The foam is pleasantly soft but retains its shape somewhat and the scent of the essential oil in the cover is pleasant and subtle. We were concerned that the smell might be too strong, but it definitely isn't! The fabric for the cover is sooo soft and the topper stays on our mattress much better than our previous one. I also love that the cover is machine washable - definitely a plus! The real foam smelled a bit when we first opened the packaging (as to be expected). But after a while it broke up and the setup process was very easy. We have slept on it for several nights now and I had a great night's sleep! Overall I'm very happy with it and think it's a great update!
