Good for pulling power from your PSU or when your PSU can't use that many fans. (I have 10)
Working. If you have the same setup as me. I now have 12v fans plugged into my wall instead of my power supply, as well as my fan controller and water cooling pump. This saves 300 watts and maybe more (load) on your PSU capacitors. Allows me to use my computer's power for critical hardware and also cool it down (since I set all fans/controllers to "off" and turn off 3 minutes after unplugging the computer. Very neat setup.
