Let me start by saying that I think this is a great buy for the price. For a small price you can protect a large investment. I think it will do its job well. I really like the silicone feet on the case as they hold the MacBook in place better than the standard feet. The downside, however, is that the case (albeit well packaged) was full of scratches. The photo is difficult to see, but very noticeable. If these little things bother you, be prepared. I also have a defect very similar to a dent in the top cover. I wasn't expecting perfection, but it still worries me a little. Overall I would buy again. I might even try buffing out the scratches and applying a protectant/wax to the case to see if that helps resist further damage. I used a compound polish and removed 95% of the visible minor scratches. I then applied sealant to the case to protect it from future scratches. Holds up great. It shines more than before and looks a lot better. Tools used: Torqx Polisher, V36 Compound, Jet Seal.
