Review on πŸ›΄ Enhanced Packaging for Razor Kick Scooter - Tackling Frustration by Stephen Burgstaller

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Surprisingly durable but best suited for children aged 6-12

Due to the useful height of the adjustable handlebars, this scooter is really great for children from 3ft 10 to around 5ft 3 inches. Height. Anyone taller than that and you slouch. The wheels spin pretty well right out of the box, the foam grips are soft and comfortable, and both my kids started rolling in no time. And as usual, they just throw it away instead of putting it down carefully, and despite the abuse, the scooters look just as worn. As far as folding goes, we've given up on that because it's not as smooth as the Action as you might think. Kids just leave it in the garage next to the bikes and these scooters are so small that they don't take up that much space. I have seen other models with kickstands and wish they were available for the A3 too as these scooters tend to slide on the garage floor and are always at risk of being hit by a car. The durability goes, the aluminum frame is relatively strong and will support my weight (185 pounds) but not without flexing a bit with the deep fear that it might just break at any moment. No wonder, because the manufacturer specifies the maximum weight of this scooter as 143 kilos! If you're an adult of a decent height or weight, I'd go with the A5 model, which is rated for up to 220 pounds. Plus, the big A5 wheels definitely improve the ride quality. Overall, it's lightweight, durable, fast, and affordable for kids.
