I Don’t Agree with Bad Reviews

Note: I guess some people may have received products with battery issues. My battery is fine so far. If that changes I will adjust review.Product The product is amazing! The vibration levels are what they should be to get the job done. Other vibrating rollers can’t compare in vibration quality to this roller. I wouldn’t want the low setting any lower. The high setting will deliver penetrating vibration power to wherever you want. It effectively loosens up my extremely tense body that exists due

Pros
  • December 8, 2021
Cons
  • Not as versatile as traditional foam rollers, limiting its use for certain muscle groups

Love it! Which I thought of it!

I love how this product brings circulation to whatever area I use it on, and also loosens up the muscle from tension! Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Balance Trainers
Cons
  • Vibrations may be distracting for some people, making it less effective for muscle recovery

Works great but it doesn't keep a charge for long!

I am disappointed that it doesn't hold a charge for very long. The lowest vibration mode is too strong for my upper back. It's nice for legs, gluts, & feet. Expensive for what you get!

Pros
  • Nothing much to be said it’s just a awful purchase.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with certain medical conditions, such as blood clotting disorders

I received it and after charging it, the unit wouldn't turn on until after 30 minutes of being unplugged. I've been trying to figure out this problem with customer hyperice customer support and they've stopped responding after asking me to provide a serial number that doesn't exist on the unit. Today I finally had to request a return because I charged it 2 hours ago, and still won't turn on. When it wanted to turn on, the roller worked great. The bad customer service I received from the…

  • Hyperice
Cons
  • May cause discomfort or pain for people with sensitive skin

Reduces stiffness so I can excercise

I can have regular, extreme tightness in my upper thigh and groin with some tightness in my lower back. I use this roller at PT and now I can use it at home. It's amazing how effective it is at reducing pain. This allows me to exercise.

Pros
  • 8 x 8 x 19 inches; 3 Pounds
Cons
  • Requires regular charging, adding to the overall maintenance of the product

Where can I get parts

I bought one of these massagers units about a year ago after one year the board failed I needed parts for it, but I couldn’t find parts so I had to buy another one I like the product but you can’t find parts for repairs.

Pros
  • Lightweight (3 lbs), Cordless – 2 hour battery life, Travel-friendly (TSA approved carry-on)
Cons
  • Difficult to clean due to the electronic components, leading to hygiene concerns

Design and Engineering is too radical

I love the looks of this foam roller but its simply over-engineered and not functional in my opinion. The vibration, even on the lowest setting, is too strong and makes too much noise. I've tried using it on my 3/4" foam mat and it still rattles my entire room. I like the idea of having a curved shape but the foam portion of the foam roller is too thin in the center. You can only really roll the upper portion of your back and it starts digging into your spine towards the middle of your back…

Pros
  • 3 speeds, High-torque 34w motor, Contour-designed EPP roller
Cons
  • The vibration may be too intense for some users, leading to muscle soreness or injury

Love the app in my review

I had this used on me at Stretch LAB so had to get one to use at home. I didn’t know about the app but it’s great. Sort of like part of a Stretch LAB session at home.

Pros
  • HIVYPER3
Cons
  • The product may malfunction if dropped or exposed to water

Strong vibration best in my review

Bought this brand at recommendation of my ART. Very well built. Strong vibration even when lying on it. Requires a power source, making it less portable than traditional foam rollers.

Pros
  • Great for Spinal health. It will dramatically change your life for the better!.Pass the Positive
Cons
  • Requires a power source, making it less portable than traditional foam rollers

Unresponsive Tech Support

Product wouldn't charge, wouldn't power on. I called tech help line, no answer and no return call EVER. I sent a chat (from their "chat with us now") that routed me to a generic email submittal. I also sent an email, which was finally replied to in 5 days, AFTER I returned the device. I'm bummed, my PT had one in his office and I came home and ordered ours immediately. Not the experience I was expecting.

Pros
  • Meet your new routine: Look forward to the best warm up of your life. Pair the Vyper 3 to the Hyperice App for pro advice, guided sessions, and to monitor your progress from your phone.
Cons
  • The product comes with a learning curve that may be frustrating for some users

Charge Does Not Last

Similar to the other 1-star review, there are issues with charging. In this case, the unit only vibrates after being plugged in for multiple hours. If left unplugged for more than 5 minutes, the until will not turn back on. Not worth it for a $200 device. Customer service is unresponsive, as well. There appears to be major issues with recently produced units.

Pros
  • Accelerated design: Built with your body in mind. The Vyper 3’s contoured design helps avoid pressure on your spine and other sensitive areas for a more comfortable roll.
Cons
  • Vibrations may be too loud for some users, creating unnecessary noise

Excellent vibrating roller

I LOVE Hyperice products!Very effective in breaking down the scar tissue and loosing tight muscles. We already have hypervolt and love using it and purchased the roller as well.Vyper 3 is the best roller I found. It vibrates very effectively when you are rolling in it. It’s like getting a deep tissue massage. Plus It does not jump around on the ground in the vibrating mode like other brands might. Totally worth every penny.

Pros
  • 1 Lithium Metal batteries required. (included)
Cons
  • The product may be difficult to store due to its size and shape

Broke/won’t charge after 8 months

The product has been great while I’ve had it. I’ve had it for about 8 months. Use it about 1-2 times a week. Now all of a sudden it won’t charge anymore and is broken. Not worth the $200 for it just to break 8 months later. Looking for a refund or a return for a new one

Pros
  • Does it's job; Needs more content
Cons
  • Will not turn on after first charge.

On my 2nd one which won’t work, seems like a scam

I have the vyper 2 and love it so was buying one for my dad. Second vyper 3 I’ve bought through this seller which doesn’t work straight out of the box. The first one, none of the battery lights ever turned on and the device would not turn on. The second is fully charged but won’t turn on. Based on other reviews this sounds like a common problem and the company doesn’t care to fix or help customers. Seems like some sort of scam at this point so will return item.

Pros
  • Sports & Outdoors
Cons
  • May not be the ideal size or shape for some users, leading to uncomfortable usage
