Good and bad good for cases, holsters and sleeves

I've had several of these. When they work, they work well. Unfortunately, the clip falls out of the case when you hang it on something like a seat belt. It looks like you can just attach it, but I've never been able to figure out how. Manufacturer information would be nice. They're inexpensive and if it ain't broke it works great.
