Products are good at best, not great. The included digital thermometer is fairly cheaply made, and I had trouble switching from Fahrenheit to Celsius, even though there's a single button that's supposed to change it. Gloves are ok. I used them while smoking a Boston butt. I do not recommend using heat resistant gloves when adding wood chips or filling the water bowl. Of course it saved my hand from burns, but I still think other gloves are probably better at preventing heat transfer. Not only that, but as soon as I used gloves to carry a stash, fat/meat/etc stuck to it. on the gloves and I could hardly take them off. nothing but violent handshakes, take off gloves as the grip with oiled gloves will not work. "Meat claws" are great, ergonomic and easy to clean.
