The trousers are fine on their own, but run VERY large. I bought size L (6) which I thought would fit my son who turned 6 last month. He's always around the 50th percentile for height and weight, so he's very average for his age group. But these pants were too long and too wide around the waist and hips. There was no way he would be able to wear them now. I put them aside of course, it will grow in them and we will be able to use them in 1 or 2 years. But given that he needed pants to wear now, the sizing issue was disappointing.
