I bought these for my 5 year old son's uniform. He is 46 inches and 49 pounds. I usually buy him a 6 or 7 at Carter's, but these 5 sizes are roomy for him. He says they are comfortable. If you're like me here you probably buy these pants as part of your school uniform. I have bought about 10 of these pants for my sons school uniforms over the past two years. . They fit well but don't last well. My 5 year old picks them up pretty quickly and they always end up with worn out knees. If your child is a bit older and less rough at play, they will work.
