I use this for my Surface Pro because the stand doesn't swivel 90 feet like a normal laptop. Covid sponsored hangouts are a lot of forehead and ceiling. The base is quite heavy, which was a pleasant surprise. It holds my computer fairly securely and the mount doesn't cover the camera lens at all. It was exactly what I was looking for!
