I love classic analog watches. It doesn't have to be automatic. I'm comfortable with quartz and love my Citizen Eco Drive. Although I also own a pair of G-Shocks, the looks of smartwatches have never appealed to me. To me they look like a piece of liquorice on a fancy bracelet. Screen, mini-touch - that's just not for me. I agree that being able to read notifications and messages without picking up your phone every time is an absolutely awesome feature. So I found this watch and it's perfect for me! The E Ink display works great. It's not too big, and once you get used to it you can use the buttons instead of poking at the display. I replaced the silicone strap with a woven strap with a WRISTARMOR quick release buckle which I think looks better. The original is also a dust magnet and never looks really clean. I don't see any real disadvantages. All that is related to it are the characteristics of the applied technology and not real problems. Of course, reading in the dark is more difficult than a glowing smartwatch. It does not have all the features and real applications. But it does what I need: phone calls, text messages, messengers and calendar events. Bingo! Now for the condensation: This is not the right watch for water sports. It is also not recommended NOT to wear a watch in the bath or shower. The O-rings on the back don't like temperature and can cause problems. Hope this helps with the decision.
