Because COVID forced the gym to close at work, my post-work workout regimen began cycling up and down five flights of stairs about a dozen times. It gets hot as hell after the third round, and it's really warm on the top floor. This neck fan really helps. After reading some reviews about heating the battery compartment, I bought a microfiber cloth from the dollar store and made a case for the collar. The fan is light and while audible, I wouldn't call it loud even at high speeds. I listen to audio books while circling the stairs and the sound of the fan doesn't bother me. I do about 3 laps without the fan, then I set it to low speed, do a few more laps and set it to medium speed and then high speed for the last few laps. It worked very well. It's such a relief. It has color changing LED lights if you're into that sort of thing (I'm not), the lighting is good if you're putting on a fan for late-night walks outside. I've had the fan for a week now so don't know how it's holding up but so far so good. I love that it came in 1 day! Update: I've had the fan for about a month now and it works great. I sometimes use it at home when using my vertical climber. It's worth it.
