These lamps wonderfully illuminate the space under my kitchen cupboards where there was no light before. They also light up the top of my electric range under the microwave/exhaust fan. I opted for the LED lighting during the day, which I prefer. The installation went well. I installed other sets of these lamps in another kitchen. I know from past experience that attaching washers with screws is the best way to install a light. You better stay put. But in this case I decided to use self-adhesive pads. So far (after more than 2 months) they are holding up without any problems. The stickiness on the pads seems to have improved. There was an existing light as part of a microwave/exhaust fan to illuminate the hob. But the amount of light it puts out is pathetic (dull and yellowish). My wife loves the extra bright light from these washers. In addition, the amount of light is adjusted via the remote control. There is a plug socket in the cupboard above the microwave. I connected the power supply for the puck lights to the second socket. I ran the wires through the back of the cabinets. You are unobtrusive. For the wiring under cabinets and the microwave I used tape to hold the wires in place (clear tape under the cabinets, black tape under the microwave). The pad under the case hides the wires, so the color of the tape there is not critical. The black insulating tape under the microwave is almost invisible because it blends into the black painted surface. My wife and I are very happy with the result. I will probably add more of the same lighting under the cabinet on the other side of the kitchen in the future.
