I've been a Noctua fan for years but in my latest build I forgot to add an aftermarket cooler to my list. The default cooler that comes with the Ryzen 5 3600 is too weak to keep it cool. The idle temperature fluctuates between 52-58°C, it easily rises to 89°C under load. After installing this cooler, the idle temperature fluctuates around 32-34°C and never rises above 71°C under extreme load at standard clock speeds. , and fan performance never approaches 100% to keep it cool. With this cooling, overclocking the chip was very easy to maintain stable overclocking.
