This is my third CCTV system. I was excited at first, but problems started almost immediately. First, I like it: the cameras have a higher resolution than my previous two systems, which was great. I also liked the software interface of the recorder itself when connected to a TV. Now for the problems: The remote viewer app for PC never worked 100% reliably, it only worked with one browser (the deprecated Internet Explorer) and required the installation of an ActivX component, which created a security hole. Not much. Then the first of the four chambers died after only 6 months. Then the second camera died at 11 months. Then, after 14 months, the hard disk in the recorder failed. Too many problems/faults to recommend.
