Good value rotary polisher

This is a good value rotary polisher. It looks and feels better than I expected. Build quality seems good, especially at this price point. It has a good weight and solid feel. The ergonomic handle is easy and comfortable to use. The polisher itself is powerful and quite noisy. It has a power rating of 1200W/10A and a speed range of 800-3000rpm, which is more than enough for most applications. There are a few things I really like about this rotary polisher. First, the 6-speed rotary control is located just above the handle, so you can easily adjust the speed with your thumb on the fly during use. Second, the ergonomic handle and snap-on D-handle make the polisher easy and comfortable to hold, and you can control exactly how hard or lightly you press it against the surface being treated. Finally, a spindle lock is built in so you can easily change the polishing pad (e.g. with a different size pad). I'm having a few issues with this polisher. The engine/transmission is quite noisy. Sometimes it can even sound like something is dangling inside. I'm not sure if it's a smearing issue, but it bothers me a little. Another issue, albeit a small one, is that the included wool polishing pad is cheap. I would buy a good quality one especially if I am going to use it on my car. Please note that this rotary polisher uses a brush motor. A pair of carbon brushes are included to replace the wear of the pre-installed carbon brushes. Overall I like this rotary polisher. It's strong enough to get the job done and the price is great. It is also good for sanding wood and other DIY projects. Good polish for the money. Try it.
