This product has two main problems: 1) It can be a bit difficult to align the controller with the charging port on the base. If you are not careful and attentive, they may step out a little and not charge. Over time you'll get a feel for when it's lined up, but that can be an issue if you have kids or other less-observant people using them. 2) If you connect both controllers to the dock in a short time, the device will switch. flashes red and green, does not lock or charge at all. Once it enters this mode, you'll have to unplug and plug it back in to get it working again. The trick is to plug in a controller and wait for the light on the dock to turn red before plugging in the next controller. Also note that the dock requires a 2A charger, meaning you'll need to provide your own charger as the ones that come with the controllers are only rated for 1A.
